Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026. By using Traxx you agree to these terms.

These terms explain your rights and responsibilities when using the Traxx platform. Please read them carefully. If you have questions, email contact@traxx.ng before creating an account.

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating a Traxx account, accessing the web dashboard, or using any Traxx mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Traxx.

If you are creating an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. What Traxx provides

Traxx is a fleet management Software-as-a-Service platform. It provides businesses with tools to track company vehicles via GPS, manage delivery assignments, control rider shift schedules, detect misuse of company assets, and generate performance and compliance reports.

Traxx is a technology intermediary. We provide the tools; the relationship between a business and its riders is entirely between those parties. Traxx is not an employer of any rider registered on the platform.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must notify us immediately at contact@traxx.ng if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

One business may have multiple user accounts under a single company subscription, subject to the limits of the plan selected.

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Traxx account.

4. Rider registration and KYC

Riders are added to the platform by the fleet manager, not through self-registration. By submitting a rider's personal information (including NIN and BVN) for KYC verification, the fleet manager confirms that they have informed the rider that they are being registered on Traxx and that GPS tracking will be active during their working hours.

A rider cannot be activated on the live map until their KYC is approved by the Traxx admin team. The fleet manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information they submit for each rider.

5. GPS tracking and consent

By using the Traxx platform, fleet managers confirm that all registered riders have been informed that their location will be tracked via GPS during shift hours, and that this tracking is tied to their employment. This is a legal obligation under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

GPS tracking is only active during a rider's open shift. It deactivates when a fleet manager approves a sign-off request. Traxx does not track riders outside of active shift hours.

6. Subscription and payment

Traxx operates on a monthly subscription model. Pricing is based on fleet size tier (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise) as published on the Traxx website.

A 14-day free trial is available for Starter and Growth plans. A valid payment method must be saved at sign-up but will not be charged until day 15. You may cancel at any time before day 15 without charge.

After the trial, subscriptions are billed monthly. Payments are processed by Paystack. If payment fails, your access may be restricted until the payment is resolved.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for early cancellation.

Enterprise pricing is negotiated directly with the Traxx team after initial signup.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Traxx to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

8. Intellectual property

All software, design, code, trademarks, and content on the Traxx platform are the property of Traxx Fleet Intelligence. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the platform for your business purposes during the term of your subscription. This licence does not give you ownership of any part of the platform.

Data that your business generates on the platform (such as trip logs and flag records) remains your property. We use it only to provide and improve the service.

9. Limitation of liability

Traxx provides GPS tracking as a best-effort technology service. We cannot guarantee 100% uptime or that every movement will be captured in every scenario (for example, in areas with no mobile network coverage).

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Traxx is not liable for: indirect or consequential losses, loss of business revenue, loss of data, or any decisions made by fleet managers or businesses based on data provided by the platform.

Our total liability to any customer for any claim is limited to the amount paid by that customer in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by emailing contact@traxx.ng. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to do so by law.

On termination, your access to the dashboard will end. Your data will be retained for the periods described in the Privacy Policy and then deleted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from the use of Traxx will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Traxx after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
