Fleet Operator Agreement
Because a fleet operator submits data about other people, riders, this agreement sets out what that responsibility involves, alongside what Traxx commits to in return.
1. Who this applies to
This agreement applies to any business account that registers riders, vehicles, or delivery assignments on Traxx. It sits alongside the Terms of Service and does not replace it.
2. Fleet operator responsibilities
- Rider consent. Before registering a rider, the fleet operator must inform them that GPS tracking will be active during shift hours and that this is tied to their work on the platform.
- Accurate KYC data. NIN, BVN, and other identity information submitted for a rider must be accurate and belong to the person actually working that role.
- Timely sign-off review. Sign-off requests should be reviewed and actioned promptly, not left open indefinitely, since this keeps GPS tracking active longer than necessary.
- Fair use of flag data. Flagged trips should be reviewed for context, in line with the Anti Gaming Policy, before any decision affecting a rider is made.
- Payment. Subscription fees are paid on the schedule set out at sign-up. Continued access depends on the account remaining current.
3. What Traxx provides in return
- Access to the web dashboard, Rider App, and customer tracking links for the plan subscribed to.
- Best-effort GPS tracking accuracy and platform uptime, as described in the Security page.
- Data isolation, so one fleet operator's data is never visible to another.
- A support channel for account and platform issues.
4. Vehicle and rider records
The fleet operator is responsible for keeping vehicle and rider records on Traxx current, including removing a rider promptly when they stop working for the business. An outdated record can result in tracking or assignments being attributed to the wrong person.
5. Liability between fleet operator and riders
Traxx is a technology provider, not the employer of any registered rider. Any employment, contractor, or payment relationship between the fleet operator and its riders is between those two parties and is not governed by this agreement.
6. Termination
If a fleet operator's account is terminated, all active rider tracking stops immediately and rider records are handled according to the retention terms in the Privacy Policy.
